THE BRONX - A local organization is offering free services to help Bronx residents develop their small businesses.

Start Small Think Big, a nonprofit located in Hunts Point, can provide financial coaching, legal services and referrals at no cost to up-and-coming business owners.

The resources to help prospective owners come from large foundations interested in social justice and poverty reduction, as well as private individuals who wish to support the organization.

Start Small Think Big will team up with micro-leaders throughout the city and even find a pro bono attorney. It says its goal is a reduction in poverty through an increased number of successful small businesses.

Most of its clients are from the Bronx, but the group does work with people in other boroughs.
