THE BRONX - About 100 neighbors in Locust Point complain that they're being flooded with sewage and rainwater each time a rainstorm hits.

According to residents, sewage drains are backed up, causing serious flooding in their homes. Some say it's so bad that dirty water will sometimes flow out of their showerhead or faucet.

The problem has been ongoing for about five years, but the homeowners say it was worsened by Superstorm Sandy.

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) says there have been no complaints in the area in the past year, and urges residents to call 311 so that workers can perform a sewer inspection.
