THE BRONX - A hopeful rapper who left London to pursue his music career in the South Bronx has his eye on stardom.

Jamieson Gordon Jr., better known as Jamieson, recently moved to the Patterson Houses in Mott Haven to be closer to the roots of hip-hop in the South Bronx.

"The Bronx is the home of hip-hop, and New York is the melting pot of the world," said Jamieson.

He's already been featured on MTV-Europe and toured with the likes of Akon and Fiona Apple, but Jamieson says he his greatest dream would be to win a Grammy Award and other accolades.

His third single, "Keep It Moving," will be released later this year.
