THE BRONX - A local Bronx group is looking to bring back the lost tradition of bomba dancing.

Los Robles de Casabe, a senior citizen live dancing troupe, received its first public recognition award for its dedication to the revival and education of Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba.

Members have made more than 100 public appearances over the past two years.

The troupe is a project of the BombaYo Collective.
