Loved ones mourn pedestrian struck in Riverdale

THE BRONX - Loved ones are mourning the loss of a man who was struck and killed in a Riverdale intersection.

Many laid flowers and lit candles at the spot where 26-year-old Jason Plumby was struck and killed Monday. Plumby was crossing Riverdale Avenue at West 261st Street to go to the pizza shop where he worked.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and has not been charged. Funeral services will be held at the Feranga Funeral Home on Allerton Avenue tonight and tomorrow.
