RIVERDALE - News 12 meteorologists say the frigid temperatures are going to continue to drop, making it tough for locals to be outside.

Business owners in Riverdale say the snowstorm and cold temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday were both bad and good for business.

Business was bad on Tuesday when there was a lot of snow on the ground. The dropping temperatures were good for business today because commuters in the area sought refuge inside the stores. They stayed warm by buying hot beverages before they caught the bus or the train.

Residents are urged to stay inside unless necessary.
