THE BRONX - A cab driver is in the hospital after allegedly being stabbed and robbed by a passenger in Fordham.

According to police, Luis Ferrierra stabbed the cabbie in the neck and torso at East Fordham Road and Marion Avenue Sunday night. The driver was severely wounded, but his current condition is not known.

Ferrierra then stole the cab, officers say, but crashed into the wall of a retailer just a couple blocks away.

The 22-year-old is facing multiple charges, including felony assault and robbery. Cops say the crime marks his eighth arrest this year.
