Police are investigating after a Bronx man was fatally shot Tuesday morning in Baychester.

The 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at Jacobi

THE BRONX - A Bronx man was fatally shot Tuesday morning in Baychester.

According to police, 49-year-old Maddeo Kane was shot in the head at around 5:30 a.m. on Hunter Avenue. 

EMS says he was unconscious when they arrived, and was pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center.

The investigation is ongoing, and there is no word on any arrests.
