Mail to building slashed after carrier is cut

THE BRONX - Residents of a 201st Street building are livid that mail has not been getting delivered to their building after a carrier complained about getting his fingers cut on the building's old mailboxes.

To get their mail, residents say they have to travel to a Fordham post office between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., which they say is a major inconvenience for working people.

Residents say the post office has told them mail won't be delivered to the building until mailboxes are changed.
