THE BRONX - A Major League Soccer club is looking for a new home, and a location in the Bronx may be a place of interest.

A Yankees spokesperson says that the New York City Football Club is interested in a site at 153rd Street.

Yankees president Randy Levine says the site is one of two in the Bronx that the baseball franchise and partner Manchester City FC are currently looking into to start construction on a new soccer stadium.

Levine says they're also keeping a close eye on sites in Queens and Brooklyn.
