Man accused of robbing livery driver in the Bronx

THE BRONX - A man is accused of robbing a livery driver in the Bronx after posing as a customer, police say.

The incident happened on Feb. 17, on Burnside and Jerome avenues around 10:30 p.m. 

Police say the man posed as a fare before placing a sharp object to the livery driver's neck and demanding him to pull the cab over.

Once the car was stopped, police say the suspect placed the driver in a chokehold and robbed him of his wallet and cellphone.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s or 40s, and was last seen wearing a ball cap.
