Man accused of stealing $1,400 from Bronx deli

A Man is accused of breaking into a deli in the Bronx and stealing more than $1,000.

THE BRONX - A man is accused of breaking into a deli in the Bronx and stealing more than $1,000.

Police say the man cut the locks to the front door of Young Deli Gourmet on 480 Concord Ave. on May 27.

They say he got a hold of the cash register with $1,400 inside, then took off.

Police describe the man as being between 220 to 260 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray-hooded sweater, camouflaged shorts and white sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
