A man is accused of stealing $900 worth of power tools from an apartment building utility room in the Bronx, police say.

HIGHBRIDGE - A man is accused of stealing $900 worth of power tools from an apartment building utility room in the Bronx, police say.

The incident happened on Feb. 23, inside of 1141 Jerome Ave. in Highbridge around 5 a.m.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video wheeling the tools around in a plastic trashcan at a gas station across the street from the building, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
