THE BRONX - A Bronx man died after police say he was assaulted by another man on Westchester Avenue. 

It happened Monday around 9:45 a.m. on Westchester Avenue and Hugh J. Grant Circle in Parkchester. 

Police say 41-year-old Willy Montilla was running from the suspect after he was assaulted, and collapsed on the ground. 

He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where police say he later died. 

The medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
