Man falls 3 stories from elevated subway platform on Jerome Avenue

A 27-year-old man is recovering after falling nearly three stories from a Bronx subway platform. It happened at the East 183rd Street 4 train station

The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital

The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital and is expected to be OK.

THE BRONX - A 27-year-old man is recovering after falling nearly three stories from a Bronx subway platform. 

It happened at the East 183rd Street 4 train station near Buchanan Place and Jerome Avenue Wednesday. 

Police say the man tumbled off the elevated platform, landing on Jerome Avenue. 

He was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, and the incident is under investigation.
