THE BRONX - Police say they found a 24-year-old male dead on the 4 train tracks earlier this morning.

The discovery, on the northbound tracks of the Mount Eden train station, caused delays in the normal morning schedule.

A police source who was on the scene told News 12 that an African-American man died after falling while walking between cars.

An MTA official made a statement after the discovery, reminding commuters that it is illegal to walk between cars, and riders should only do so if directed by a crew member or the NYPD.
