Man fatally shot in Claremont; suspect wanted

A suspect is on the loose after shooting and killing a man in Claremont Saturday morning, officials say.

Police say a 30-year-old man was shot in the chest in front of a house on Clay Avenue around 6:45 a.m.

THE BRONX - A suspect is on the loose after shooting and killing a man in Claremont Saturday morning, officials say.

Police say a 30-year-old man was shot in the chest in front of a house on Clay Avenue around 6:45 a.m.

They say the victim died after being taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

Police say as they were investigating the Clay Avenue shooting, another shooting occurred a few blocks away, near Grant Street.

Authorities say they are trying to determine if the two shootings are related.
