Man gets life behind bars in murder-for-hire

THE BRONX - The man who hired his cousin to kill his fiancée in front of their son was sentenced to life in prison Monday.

Carlos Cruz admitted to hiring Devon Miller to kill 19-year-old Chelsea Frazier in 2008 during a staged robbery on Barrett Avenue in the Bronx.

According to officials, Cruz said he wanted to kill Frazier because she broke up with him and he didn?t want to pay child support anymore.

Cruz will not be eligible for parole.
