Man mauled by tiger due to face judge in January

THE BRONX - The man who jumped into the tigers den at the Bronx Zoo Friday is expected to face a judge on Jan. 11.

According to authorities, David Villalobos, of Mahopac, told them he leapt from the monorail to be "one" with the 400-pound Siberian tiger.

The 25-year-old is facing multiple charges including criminal trespassing.
