Man seriously hurt in Hunts Point hit-and-run

Police say a man identified as Octavio Reyes is the victim of a hit-and-run crash that occurred at the intersection of Longwood Avenue and Bruckner

THE BRONX - Police say a man identified as Octavio Reyes is the victim of a hit-and-run crash that occurred at the intersection of Longwood Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard in Hunts Point Monday morning.

A family member says Reyes, a father of three, was leaving his sister?s apartment when he was hit by an oncoming Lincoln Town Car.

Police say they?re still searching for the car that hit Reyes and that the vehicle is likely to have significant damage. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital and is listed in serious condition.
