Man shot after refusing to give robbers money

THE BRONX - Witnesses say a Bronx man was shot in the stomach after refusing to give up his money during an armed robbery at a gas station.

The man, who works as an attendant at a Castle Hill Avenue Sunoco station, was approached by two armed men Saturday night. He was shot after refusing to give them money, coworkers say.

Police say surveillance video from the gas station may help them find the suspects.

The man, who was hospitalized Saturday after the attack, was released from the hospital Sunday afternoon.
