Man shot blocks away from Bronx Zoo

THE BRONX - A search is underway for the gunman who shot a 22-year-old in West Farms, just blocks away from the Bronx Zoo. 

According to police, the victim was shot twice, once in his torso and again in his arm. It happened on Boston Road and East 179th Street at around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. 

The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
