NORTH RIVERDALE - A 57-year-old father of four was killed this morning when he was crushed by a school bus in North Riverdale. Police say Nilo Montilla was hit at the intersection of Broadway and Moshulu Parkway. The empty bus was traveling southbound and dragged the victim down the street. Family members say Montilla was on his way to pick up his taxi when the accident happened. "This is not happening," his daughter, Lissy Montilla, says. "He's a great father. He was a great provider." Residents say this is not the first time an accident has occurred at the intersection, and that motorists need to adhere to the speed limit. Police say the bus driver has not been charged and they are still investigating the accident.
