Man wanted for Morrisania burglary spree

THE BRONX - Police are looking for a man who they say has become a master at breaking through padlocks while on a burglary spree in Morrisania.

According to authorities, the suspect was caught on surveillance video after striking at least four local stores within a three-block radius in the past two months. They include a convenience store, a pizza place and a community center.

Cops say that in each case, the man broke through padlocks that secured pull-down gates over the storefronts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
