BRONXWOOD - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who allegedly robbed a man in a Bronxwood bodega early Friday morning.

According to police, the suspect ran into the bodega at 722 Allerton Ave. just before 3 a.m. He allegedly approached a 41-year-old man, assaulted him and took off with his cellphone.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
