Man wanted in string of bank robberies in The Bronx and Brooklyn

THE BRONX - The NYPD is looking for a suspect wanted in a string of bank robberies and attempted bank robberies in The Bronx and Brooklyn.

Police say the suspect robbed a Brooklyn bank on Jan. 22, then tried to rob two more on Jan. 28; one in Brooklyn and the Community Bank on 3rd Avenue in The Bronx. In each case, the suspect handed a note to the teller, demanding money.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, in his 30s and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He also has a scar over his left eye.
