THE BRONX - Police need help finding a man and woman wanted for a string of robberies in the Bronx.

A handful of the crimes happened on Webster Avenue, and cops say about $7,000 was stolen from area businesses.

The latest in this string of robberies happened at the MetroPCS store on West Kingsbridge Road last Friday. The victim says a man came into the store, punched her in the face, and demanded money. She says he aimed at her with a gun and then stole her phone.

Police say this is the 11th time the same suspect has committed a robbery in the Bronx. Surveillance video shows the male suspect assault store clerks at knife and gunpoint. Investigators believe his female accomplice either canvases a store before the suspect commits the crime, or secures the suspect's exit outside.

News 12 has aired the surveillance videos in the past, but the suspect continues to strike.

Boost Mobile employees say a fellow coworker has reportedly recently quit his job after he was held up twice at gunpoint, allegedly by the same suspect.

Police say the robbery spree started on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013. They say the suspect is a black male, about 25 years old, 5'10" and weighs 175 pounds. They say his accomplice is a black female in her 20s, 5'5", and weighs 190 pounds.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call contact authorities.
