MOTT HAVEN - A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot and wounded yesterday in Mott Haven.

Police say the victim, who's in his 20s, was shot at least three times in the arm and leg at around 1:30 p.m. yesterday on East 143rd Street and Morris Avenue. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he's listed in serious condition.

Residents in the neighborhood say this is the third shooting in the last two days in the area.
