THE BRONX - Students at Manhattan College are helping Bronx seniors stay active with their new invention.

Students created products to work specifically with seniors. Some of the products include an exercise band, a pump that enables residents to fill a glass of water from their bedside pitcher, multiple gardening tables, an assisted booster chair, an arcade basketball game and a thera-band adjustable work frame.

The inventions were created as a partnership between Manhattan College and Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Seniors in the home will receive the products to use.
