Manhole fire causes power outages in Kingsbridge area

A manhole caught fire in Kingsbridge, leading to power outages in one neighborhood. It happened on 195th Street around 12 a.m. Tuesday.

THE BRONX - A manhole caught fire in Kingsbridge, leading to power outages in one neighborhood.

It happened on 195th Street around 12 a.m. Tuesday.

Con Ed was forced to close the road near Reservoir Avenue in order to make repairs. 

Residents said later in the day that parts of some buildings remained without power.
