THE BRONX - A manhole without a cover that has been causing problems for drivers for a month has been fixed.

News 12 first reported of the manhole without a cover on Morris Avenue.

Earlier this spring, the city put heavy metal plates over the open hole so that cars didn't get damaged.

Officials say the paving should be a more permanent solution.
