THE BRONX - A manhunt is under way for a teenager who escaped from a detention center in Williamsbridge on Saturday.

According to authorities, 18-year-old Quentin Stroman left through the front door of a non-secure placement facility on White Plains Road, which is privately owned and operated by Episcopal Social Services. It is unclear what security measures are in place and how he was able to leave unnoticed.

Quentin was not under NYPD custody, but had been incarcerated at the facility as an alternative to serving jail time for assault.
