THE BRONX - A major crater in the middle of a Norwood street has now been covered up.

News 12 reported on the sinkhole Wednesday. It had been creating safety concerns for people in the area of Perry Avenue and East 204th Street.

Many commuters complained that only a cone and small barrier were keeping drivers and pedestrians from the hole.

However, a viewer called to say that the sinkhole has now been covered by a metal plate until the cause is fixed permanently.
