THE BRONX - Mayor Bill de Blasio says 100 percent of the city's primary roads have been plowed and more than 90 percent of secondary roads are clear.

De Blasio is still urging residents to stay off the roads overnight as freezing temperatures set in.

The Department of Sanitation is working with private contractors to clear the remaining streets.

The mayor is asking residents to shovel snow around hydrants so emergency crews can access them if needed. He says emergency response teams are on a one-minute delay, but are constantly working to improve that.
