NEW YORK - Mayor Michael Bloomberg wrapped up a farewell tour of all five boroughs as he prepares to turn over the reins after 12 years in office.

Bloomberg delivered a final speech at the Economic Club of New York today after talking about his biggest accomplishments during a stop in Brooklyn's Prospect Park on Tuesday.

He touted a decrease in crime as one his proudest achievements, as well as improving education and expanding life expectancy. He added that other major cities look to New York as a model on how to launch certain projects and deal with public health.

Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio will take office on Jan. 1, at which time Bloomberg says he'll likely return to helping run his company and fund causes he's interested, such as gun control.
