NEW YORK - The mayor's office is spreading the word on how to get help concerning domestic violence.
Workers with the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence and the NYPD went around Fordham on Monday handing out fliers and putting up posters for domestic violence victims.
It's part of an effort to get victims the help they need and to get the word out to those who are often afraid to speak up.
