NEW YORK - Mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner has dropped to number two in the polls just two days after a new sexting scandal surfaced.
City Council Speaker Christine Quinn is now in the lead with 25 percent of voters, according to the latest NBC 4 New York/Wall Street Journal/Marist Poll. Weiner falls behind with 16 percent of voter support.
The results were released on the same day that Weiner admitted to sending racy messages to as many as three women after resigning from Congress in 2011 for similar conduct.
