HUNTS POINT - Bill Thompson visited a Bronx business in the early morning hours during his 24-hour campaign tour.

The mayoral candidate put on a white coat and went by the Schuster Meat Corporation in Hunts Point to talk to workers as they prepared and packaged ground beef patties.

The family owned meat factory sends out 200,000 pounds of meat every day. They've been in business since 1941 and made the Hunts Point Co-op Market their home back in 2001.

Thompson chose this location and early morning time to learn about the lives of New Yorkers who work during all hours of the day and night. He will be ending his tour in Harlem later this morning.
