THE BRONX - Mayoral hopefuls packed a Bronx temple to share their views at a public forum Thursday.

Former Congressman Anthony Weiner and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn were among the six candidates who spoke at the Democratic Forum at the Riverdale Temple. Public advocate Bill de Blasio, former Brooklyn City Councilman Sal Albanese, Reverand Selgado and former city Comptroller Bill Thompson made up the rest of the speakers.

Weiner, who jumped into the race just this week via a YouTube video, also campaigned earlier in the day outside a Harlem subway station. During the forum, he apologized to the audience for the sexting scandal that ultimately cost him his seat in Congress.

A recent poll showed Weiner in second place behind Quinn among Democratic candidates.
