NORWOOD - The golden arches are gone on a busy stretch of Jerome Avenue in Norwood.

The McDonald's that was located at 3440 Jerome Ave., near North Central Bronx Hospital, abruptly closed its doors without explanation. A "no food" sign adorns a glass window.

Some locals said they aren't loving it, and they want to know why.

The local business improvement district said it doesn't have any information about the closure.

News 12 called a number attributed to the owner, but the voicemail was full.
