HUNTS POINT - Vendors in Hunts Point are angry at the city's decision to construct bike lanes during the upcoming holiday season.

Many vendors and truck drivers are saying that the construction is causing chaos and confusion, as well as delays in turkey deliveries for Thanksgiving. However, market bicyclists say that the lanes are necessary for safety.

A source close to the multibillion-dollar project told News 12 that Con Ed crews were supposed to be done relocating utilities a month ago.

A spokesperson says that the bike lane construction should be completed next week.
