Meeting to be held to discuss 'Harlem River Greenway'

HIGHBRIDGE - Tonight will be the final meeting to brainstorm ideas for the "Harlem River Greenway.? The idea of the project is to connect Randalls Island to Van Cortlandt Park along the water.

Chauncy Young with the Harlem River working group says a lot of communities have been cut off from the water for years. They now want the public to step up and say what they would like to see, be it bike lanes, restaurants, or boating options.

After the meeting tonight, students from Pratt Institute will put all the ideas together to make a master plan, which will be presented in June to the borough president, elected officials and community members.
