THE BRONX - Snow and ice began to melt Monday afternoon as temperatures rose across the borough.

The melting caused some slushy conditions and large puddles.

Overnight temperatures are expected to dip into the teens, and the cold is expected to refreeze wet roads and sidewalks.

Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing on Tuesday.
