THE BRONX - A video showing the confrontation between a group of bikers and a Range Rover this past Sunday on the West Side Highway in New York City has gone viral.

The video highlights a group of bikers surrounding the Range Rover, which is brought to a halt after the driver, named Alexian Lien in published reports, bumps a motorcycle. Lien, who was with his wife and infant daughter in the SUV, is then seen driving through motorcyclists in an attempt to escape the crowd.

The bikers eventually catch up to the Range Rover and are seen smashing the driver's side window and attacking Lien.

A member of the motorcycle group, who calls himself "S Dot," told News 12 that the situation could have easily been avoided.

"Those guys were acting out of emotion," he says. "They just watched a fellow brother being run over by a reckless driver for no reason, when all he had to do was wait four or five minutes and let the bikes go by."

The incident left one biker in the hospital and another, 28-year-old Christopher Cruz, facing reckless driving charges and endangering the welfare of a child. Police also have another biker, 42-year-old Alan Edwards, of Queens, in custody. They are searching for one more suspect.

Lien received stitches at a hospital.
