THE BRONX - Friends and family are putting together a makeshift memorial to honor a Bronx toddler found dead Friday afternoon. Police say 3-year-old Crystal Sanchez was discovered on the floor of her Longfellow Avenue apartment. According to witnesses, she was rushed out by EMS at around 1:30 p.m. while wearing an oxygen mask. Family members say Crystal had been sick, but thought that her mother's boyfriend was watching her. They say Hilton Acevedo always watches Crystal and her brothers while their mother works at a local bodega. Authorities say they're unsure what led to the girl's death and are still investigating.
