THE BRONX - A memorial is growing outside the Bronx home of an armed 14-year-old who was fatally shot by police over the weekend.
Loved ones are now making funeral arrangements for Shaaliver Douse, who lived with his mother at 1420 Washington Ave.
Authorities say the teen fired at someone at around 3 a.m. Sunday on 151st Street and Courtlandt Avenue. Two uniformed officers were in the area and ordered Douse to drop his weapon.

One of the officers then fired a single shot, hitting Douse in the jaw. Investigators confirm that a black semi-automatic was recovered from the scene.
Douse had previously been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a 15-year-old this past May. The Bronx District Attorney's Office says the case was deferred because the victim was apparently unable to identify the gunman.
Police say they are still trying to find whoever Douse was targeting.
