THE BRONX - A makeshift memorial continues to grow for the Bronx teen who was shot and killed on Saturday.

Police say 17-year-old Kurt Lawrence was killed on East 175th Street.

Lawrence was a standout football player at Kennedy Heights High School and his friends say he was looking forward to graduating and attending college.

Lawrence's family says it has had more than its share of heartache, having lost his father last year and an older brother who was also shot and killed.
