NEW YORK - The English dictionary is keeping up with today’s digitally social world. 

The newest edition of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary is now recognizing 150 new words and phrases. 

Additions include social media, hashtag, selfie, tweep and spoiler alert. 

A few others you'll find in the dictionary's 11th edition are Yooper, fracking and e-waste.
