YONKERS - A Metro-North freight train derailment in the Bronx is causing major problems for city-bound commuters north of the borough.

Southbound train service on the Hudson Line is running from Poughkeepsie, but the line ends at Yonkers where riders must hop on a shuttle bus to Van Cortlandt Park.

Once customers reach the park, they can catch the southbound 1 train to get into Manhattan. They may also catch a train on the Harlem Line, which is running without any problems.

Crews are still cleaning up and assessing the damage caused by the derailment. It's unclear when everything will return to normal.
