Minibike driver hit, dragged by ambulette on Adee, Barnes avenues in Allerton

THE BRONX - A minibike driver is lucky to be alive after colliding with an ambulette in Allerton.

Officials say the bike rider was dragged 30 yards from the point of impact on Adee and Barnes avenues.

EMS rushed him to the hospital in critical condition.

Neighbors say the victim is known for cruising the area on his minibike.

Police questioned the driver of the ambulette at the scene. He will not face any charges.
